Today was the second test run of the TopWater Bite’s TopWater Frog and it was everything I could ask for and more. The previous problems have been fixed and I’m pretty much ready to move forward with the project. The frog floats better than I thought it actually would. It sits low in the water like a real frog and the wood gives a heavy type of realness to its movements. Overall I’m very pleased with where it’s at right now. We’ve had a couple of cold nights here the last two days so I wasn’t expecting too much in terms of bites today. The weather looks like it’s going to hit almost 80 at the end of the week so hopefully I can get out then and maybe get my first bite on the new frog. Here’s some more pictures and a video too. I know the video kinda sucks but it’s hard to film while reeling, especially since I haven’t got the go pro yet.
